About the Health Co-benefits Inspector
The "Health Co-benefits of Greenhouse Gas Mitigation" study is one of twelve studies within AGEDI's "Local, National, and Regional Climate Change (LNRCC) Programme. The study assessed public health co-benefits within the Abu Dhabi Metropolitan Area from implementing policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) from the power/water, transport, and industrial sectors. A research team led by Bill Dougherty from the Climate Change Research Group carried out the study.
The main objective of the Inspector is to offer access to the inputs and outputs of the study. Two options are offered: a "SIMPLE" version which consists of essential databases and a "MODEL" version (built using Excel 64-bit version) which consists of a test version of a user-friendly tool to explore the implications of the study,
For a discussion of the underlying methodology, models, data sources, and key assumptions, please see the accompanying technical reports which are accessible from the Review Background section of the main Health Co-Benefits of Greenhouse Gas Mitigation page.
